We don't just sell clothes or items for the ceremony. We honor the beginnings – with care for the child's skin, with respect for the emotion of the parents and godparents, with the conscious choice of each material. We started from a small family workshop and built, step by step, a universe for babies where quality is non-negotiable and honest advice is the rule.
My dear parents, godparents and friends, thank you for letting us be part of your beautiful moments. At AnneBebe, each piece passes through our hands with care and patience: certified cotton, cotton lace, silk, and the details of crystals and pearls are placed discreetly, just enough to brighten the moment. We create and produce baptismal sets, dresses, costumes and candles, we personalize them through embroidery and we advise you with love—from sizes and materials to matching the entire set. Our colleagues are close to you, in store and online, so that everything comes out simple, clean and elegant. I await you with an open heart to choose together what will become a memory! With Respect!
In 2001, my mother set out with a single sewing machine and a set of simple beliefs: the christening gown must be beautiful, clean and gentle on the newborn's skin . From her, I inherited respect for materials, rigor in execution and the belief that true beauty does not need artifice. Each piece in our first collections was a discreet conversation between material and meaning: breathable cotton, non-irritating lace, soft satin, impeccable finishes.
"The Christening Suit and Robe is not a show, it is respect. Respect for the child's skin and for the parents' emotions." — my mother
Beyond technique, the workshop was a school of values: discretion, naturalness, simplicity. Less, but better – this became the filter through which we pass any design or purchasing decision. When you work for a child's first days, there is no "just go with it".
I grew up in the workshop, learning patterns, densities, textures and those invisible details that make the difference in comfort. But the real change came when I became a father. From that moment on, all decisions go through a demanding filter: "Would I put this on my children's skin?"
I assumed the role of a child care specialist : to understand the real needs of the child, to choose clothes that allow free movement, shoes that support correct walking, toys and accessories that stimulate the senses, without moving away from the natural rhythm of childhood. This perspective led me every year to international fairs (such as Pitti Immagine Bimbo (Italy), Playtime Paris, Kind + Jugend (Germany) ) not to "chase trends", but to bring home safe, useful and sustainable solutions.
At AnneBebe, the quality of the material is non-negotiable . When I say "natural and premium materials" I mean certified cotton (GOTS, OEKO-TEX), fine merino wool that regulates body temperature, linen that lets the skin breathe, premium viscose or soft satin for the ceremony. We select fabrics that not only look good, but also protect the baby's delicate skin and withstand use, washing, storage.
For me, AnneBebe means everything that touches children's skin: Certified cotton – soft, breathable and friendly to sensitive skin – has clear standards (including OEKO-TEX®) and is easy to care for, withstanding repeated washings beautifully. For bright summers, we use linen and other natural fibers, with an airy texture and refined hold, perfect for ceremonies. Cotton lace is neatly cut and sewn with patience, and silk is placed where the touch must be impeccable. We apply crystals and pearls discreetly – just enough to catch the light without exaggeration – and, when we compose the dresses, premium satin brings that elegant shine that turns an important day into a memory.
We are guided by a simple principle: not everything that is "cute" is suitable for a newborn . That is why we filter every proposal and prefer a small but correct selection instead of voluminous offers with "marketing" products.
Each piece passes through the hands of the colleagues in the workshop, we check the seams, samples and finishes, so that parents can enjoy without worries. No detail is accidental: I follow every stage. This is how AnneBebe is born: clean, delicate and honest, exactly as I want my promise to children and parents to remain.
We import directly from manufacturers in Italy, Spain, Germany, Turkey and France and collaborate with super recognized brands, without "walking" the goods through improper warehouses. Thus, the authenticity and condition of the product remain impeccable, and the price is fair. I refuse to fill the shelves with products that "sell easily" but do not meet the standards of parents.

The AnneBebe DNA comes to life in our Romanian workshop, ARTCONFEX , where we make small batches of complete outfits , baptism candles and ceremonial robes . We use premium materials, often from the same European factories that service luxury brands. I personally check each batch to ensure our standard remains consistent.
For the baptism day, we have prepared matching and personalized rompers and complete sets that you can find at Rompers , in Boys' Baptism Sets and in the Girls' Baptism selection. The candles are handmade and decorated in the workshop, matching the event theme —Baptism Candles . For the ceremony outfits, we put comfort and the right cut first: see Baptism Dresses and Boys' Baptism Costumes .
AnneBebe stores in Bucharest are not just sales spaces, but places of advice . We encourage you to touch the materials, see the colors in natural light, and receive honest advice based on our experience of over two decades.
In the AnneBebe stores in Unirea, Băneasa and Sun Plaza, we built exactly the place I wanted as a parent: we don't sell on the run, but we sit with each family, lay out the materials, match the sizes and combine the dress or suit with the trouser and the candle, so that everything makes sense in a single visit.
We offer our AnneBebe creations from the ARTCONFEX workshop and brands chosen directly from the source — Mayoral, Abel & Lula, Sarabanda, iDO, Guess, Us Polo Assn Baby — without "walked & dirty" stocks or compromise on quality. In the store we measure correctly, check the type of footwear appropriate for the age, recommend layers for the weather and prepare for customization where possible (name and date on personalized christening outfits).
The sale is personally assisted by colleagues, we do not have baskets, because we assume the end-to-end counseling and say "no" when a product does not really fit the need. We keep the chain short — Italy, Spain, Germany, Turkey, France — and correct storage conditions, so that the product reaches the child exactly as it should. My goal is simple: to leave with peace of mind, with a complete and correct set, without "extra pieces", with clear explanations for each choice.
On annebebe.ro and camerabebelusului.ro we replicate the same care in stores. You will find detailed descriptions, accurate photos and articles that explain why certain materials or cuts are suitable for certain ages, seasons or occasions. We want every decision to be informed and free from pressure .
"The AnneBebe Family" means my colleagues – 56 people who leave their mark of passion in every stitch and package – but also you : parents, godparents, grandparents. My vision is simple: to keep AnneBebe a clean and honest Romanian brand , a legacy of trust for both my children and yours. The promise remains the same: less, but better .
Christening day doesn't start in the store and it doesn't end in the photos. It starts with the godparents' promise to keep the focus on the baby, not the decor. As the founder and someone who talks to godparents every week, my manifesto is simple: choose with a clear head, a calm heart, and respect for your baby's skin.
The baby's outfit should fit naturally, let the skin breathe and allow for small gestures: being held, falling asleep, being gently changed. The candle should not compete with the baby; it is a discreet sign, not a show. The personalization (name, date) remains fine and clear, without elements that scratch or that may be uncomfortable.
What we have created at AnneBebe is a smooth journey for you: you arrive, we talk, we touch the materials, we match the colors and measurements, then we leave everything coherent in one set. No running around in five places, no shade mismatches. You leave with confidence, not with "something extra".
"Godparents set the tone for the day. When they choose quietly, the child remains at the center - just as it should be."
As a parent, I know it's tempting to look for "something special." But special, for a small child, means that they're comfortable. For everyday wear, I choose natural materials, cuts that let the body move, and soft touches where the skin is more sensitive. For special occasions, the rules don't change: all comfort remains first; only the lines become more elegant.
In the first months, an outfit that is quick to put on and doesn't get in the way becomes gold. As your child grows, let the clothes encourage them: steady steps, free hands, autonomy. And on days with high emotions, keep a change of clothes handy. In the store we go through these details together. We don't check off a list; we check what really suits them. We don't insist on "this is how they wear it", but on "this is how they feel good".
"When the child breathes freely, the family breathes freely. The rest becomes simple."
The right crib chosen from our brand CameraBebelusului.ro means stability, certifications, safe finishes and easy access for the parent. The right chest of drawers means drawers that open completely, without play; everything at hand level, without improvisation. The right underwear means fibers that let the skin breathe and that are easy to wash, without losing their shape.
I learned that the rhythm of a young family is built from small, repetitive and safe things: the diaper in its place, the clothes that don't catch, the crib that doesn't squeak, the light that doesn't bother. Not everything that's "smart" is useful for a newborn; useful is what doesn't confuse you at three in the morning.
In stores and at fairs, we talk about this from practice, not from brochures. We look at the space you have, the way you move around the house, the child's schedule. And we choose what supports the rhythm, not what complicates it.
Do you need personalized advice for your baby's baptism or wardrobe? We are here for you, with a lot of experience in ceremonies and clothing for little ones—to guide you step by step: from choosing the theme and color palette, to coordinating the entire baptism set (trousers, candle, dress/suit, accessories) and the perfect match for photos. In store or online, we recommend the right size based on age, height and weight, select materials that are gentle on the skin (certified cotton, cotton lace, silk) and discreetly complete with elegant details (crystals, pearls) where appropriate. We can integrate personalization through embroidery, propose outfits for occasions, but also practical pieces for everyday life, help you with mix & match between brands and prepare a coherent selection within your budget and calendar.
